Abandoned RAF base: A moment in time

I have always been intrigued by the history surrounding abandoned places. I find it fascinating how places can appear 'stuck in time' or lost and forgotten about, with the decay and deterioration from the lack of love and life within it. I like the silence and emptiness these places consume, knowing that it was once a place thriving with people, with thousands of memories stored inside, being able to experience and feel the history of these spaces is truly something special.
